Meet the Team: Pennsylvania

Angela Harlan –
Office Administrator

Before coming to Robinson Angela worked for a printing company where she held many different positions from customer service to subject matter expert and finally project manager.  Angela has over 20 years’ experience in the customer service field.  Eleven of those years have been here at Robinson.  She has held several different positions with Robinson all while keeping a part of her role with the Service Department.   The skills and knowledge she has gained in all of these departments have made her more effective in her current role.

Ray Boots –
Field Engineer

Growing up on a hog farm Ray learned many mechanical lessons early on.  At 18 years old he started with Robinson Fans where he worked in our assembly department for 7 years creating a solid foundation of fan knowledge.  Ray then took to the field as Service Technician until he moved into the Field Engineering position.  Ray has been in the Service group traveling the globe for 28 years.  He has worked in 28 countries, accumulating over 3 million miles, where he took on large projects and diagnosed many issues.

Bill Lunz –
Field Engineer

Prior to joining Robinson Fans Bill worked for 10 years in the Building Trades, specifically as an Ironworker.  Some of the more well-known projects that he worked on in Pittsburgh were the PPG Tower, the Convention Center and the Convention Center office Tower.  After many years as an Iron worker Bill took his skills to Robinson Fans in 1990 to quickly become a top-notch wheel welder.  With his sites on the joining the Service team he moved to our assembly department in order to gain a solid foundation for the mechanics of the fan which he would need to gain to be successful in the field.  Bill joined the Service team in 1995 and remained in the Service Department as a Service Technician until 2000.  He spent the next 3 years out of the country working as an independent sales representative for Robinson Fans and other suppliers, mainly in the steel, mining, and cement industries.  In 2003 he returned to the USA and rejoined the Field Service Department where I still work as a Field Service Engineer.

Cody Tuchek –
Service Engineer

Growing up on a farm gave Cody a solid foundation of all things mechanical.  With this experience and some schooling under his belt, he was a quick study working for 4 years as a Survey Technician for the state of Pennsylvania.  Wanting to utilize his mechanical experience he went to work with Robinson Fans in our Lab as a Lab Technician in our in-house test facility.  Here he conducted air performance and mechanical runt tests on production and research and development fans and also was a backup in our Assembly department.
