Mike Andrews –
Shop Coordinator

Mike began working at Robinson in July of 1997. Before Robinson Fans, he was a maintenance supervisor at Jefferson Memorial doing maintenance on the buildings , servicing the equipment truck, mowers, heavy equipment, welding cutting, drafting and surveying areas for more lots, schedule the staff in the maintenance department on the duties that needed to be done.

James C. Burress –
Project Manager

James Burress has been employed by Robinson Service for 19 years as a Project Manager. His years have been with the field service division and worked three years with other Project Managers as a shift supervisor. James has traveled all over the US and parts of Canada conducting the business of installing and repairing fans manufactured by Robinson as well as many other fan manufacturers equipment for our company. James has a vast amount of experience installing many types of fan bearings and couplings. James has attended CSI and PRUFTECHNIK balancing seminars over the years and is fluent in the field of fan balancing. He has also attended training classes by Opti-Align in the use of laser alignment process. Prior to coming to work for Robinson Fans, James was employed by Mangrum Construction which is a company that did general structural steel and concrete work and setting of equipment. During his employ there James worked in the shop fabricating and welding equipment before transferring into their field service department where he began traveling all over the US repairing equipment in the field. During the time that James has been with Robinson Service he has successfully completed numerous shutdowns in industries of all kind all over the country and projects of all sizes. He is very well versed in the leadership of large crews and has a full understanding of the importance of a timely completion of a project. His many years of experience have made him a true leader in the world of fan repair.

Robby Mitchell –
Project Manager

Robby has worked for Robinson Service since 2007 as a project manager, and since the mid 1990’s as a contract worker.  He is proficient in the repairing, installing, aligning, and balancing of fans for Robinson. He also serves a resource for new builds and in-service projects. After graduation, he worked for various companies installing fans and similar work. Robby worked as a pipe welder and fitter in the 1990’s and worked on a contract company for the railroad as a welder. He acquired his CDL license in 1993.

James W. Burress –
Project Manager

James was hired full time at Robinson Service in November 2013 as a foreman.

Sam Rutherford –
Project Manager

Sam become a full-time Robinson Service employee on April 20, 2020. He had worked as contractor to support the Robinson Service team for almost 15 years. He has a working knowledge of all aspects of the industry. Prior to working with Robinson Service, he spent 11 years as a lineman, building powerlines with Pike electric and five years working with Fontaine, where he specialized in building hydraulic systems on trailers and painting. He also spent four years in the U.S. Navy.
