Robinson’s Field Service Team offers multiple services including:

  • Pre-Grout Inspection
    • Commissioning Service
    • Field Balancing
    • Field Air Performance Testing
    • Fan Troubleshooting (on-location, phone, remote)
    • Maintenance Seminars
    • Equipment Inspections
    • Installation supervision

For new fan equipment installations, it is highly recommended to have an equipment specialist perform inspections during installation hold points. These are typically done after a fan is set into place, and before grout is poured, then again once the equipment is hooked up to power and ready for initial operation.

Having a Robinson Service technician or field engineering onsite for consultation and inspection during the installation processes, provides assurance that the installation is correct, and factory settings have all been verified. During commissioning support, Robison Service representatives will perform trim balancing if required, followed by acceptance testing, to include vibration and temperature level monitoring, ensuring the fan is operating within specifications.

Final reporting of all installation and final inspection checks will be filed in our system and also provided to the customer to be filed with the fan records.
